The Gastronome in GUM was situated on the first line in Soviet times and its windows overlooked the Red Square.

Recently, the legendary Gastronome № 1 in GUM has come back to life. The architectural style, marble columns, arches, convex glass storefronts-refr igerators, juice cone machines, huge chandeliers, sign boards of products, executed in the manner of the 50s, and the sellers' uniform make the new gastronome of GUM the successor of the old one.
GUM brand concept implies the suggestive charm of the "Soviet luxury", irrecoverable, but charming and comfortable lifestyle. GUM projects such as Gastronom №1, Café Festivalnoe and Stolovaya №57 were created in this vein.
