Museum-Estate of Leo Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana" application was designed for Potanin Foundation.
The application allows you to take a virtual tour of the estate of Leo Tolstoy that was transformed into a museum in 1921. Visitors can get an idea of what was the family estate at the turn of XIX-XX centuries. There are stored items and the atmosphere of a large family home. The museum has an extensive collection of ancient objects and decorative art, Russian painting, sculpture, graphics.
The application was released under the project "museum guide" of the Foundation and is available for free in the AppStore. It includes an interactive map of the museum where each object has a short description. The section "Panorama Yasnaya Polyana" allows you to see Tolstoy's bedroom and lounge-dining room in detail, "walk" across the park and see Tolstoy's favorite bench. However, some parts can not only be seen but also heard - in "The Sound of Yasnaya Polyana" section is located audio-portrait Museum-Estate - recordings made in the park, by the pond and in the rooms. The culinary tradition of Tolstoy's home is reflected in the "Ankovsky cake" section. All the necessary information about the operation, the cost of tickets and trips can be found in the section "Visitors."
